CEG HQ has no power, so the elevator is dead. Outside there's a generator with three levers on the back and a key slot plus a red lever on the front.

There are three levers on the back. You only move one.
HINT 02 / 03
Pull just the right-hand lever to the diagonal position; leave the other two upright (off).
HINT 03 / 03
Then go round the front, insert the key and pull the red lever.

- 02On the front panel, insert the Generator Key on the right.
- 03Pull the red lever on the left.

Most people go straight to the front panel. The instructions want you round the back first to set the levers — only the right one goes diagonal, the other two stay upright. Then key, then red lever.
